TWENTY FIVE YEARS!

Wow, I cannot believe that I have been photographing High School Seniors for the past 25 years, I guess that means I truly enjoy what I do!  Yes, creating beautiful images for young adults has been a passion of mine throughout the years and it has been a privilege to be chosen as your Senior portrait photographer.  I have been blessed to come to know so many of you, to see you with families of your own, and to see the success you have achieved in your chosen fields.

Twenty five years....a long time of practicing my craft, staying on top of trends, learning Photoshop and more Photoshop, creating new styles, and teaching what I've learned.

I want to say, "thank you to the many Seniors who chose Barbara Tobey Photography to create their Senior portraits and for helping me grow as a professional photographer."

It has been an honor, and loads of fun, serving you!

2009 Maine Convention

Wow, I just came home from our 2009 Convention held in Freeport. We had some wonderful speakers this year and I got many tidbits of helpful information from each of them.

I picked up some helpful hints from Don on lighting, I'll be working on my marketing pieces over the next several week thanks to Holly and Keith, and I'll be networking with some of my venues thanks to Linda. The trade show was a success and I plan to incorporate some of the A.C.I. press products into my promo pieces...it's time for a change and I am anxious to get started!

I can't wait to try some of Craig's computer techniques and I will definitely purchase Lightroom in hopes of cutting my computer time substantially, thanks Jeff and Carolle. A warm thanks to all of our speakers for making our convention a huge success!

I had a great time visiting with friends I hadn't seen for a while and catching up on what they were all doing. My special thanks to all the MPPA members who worked so hard to put on such a fantastic convention!

Here are the rest of my competition prints....enjoy...
